These songs are from a show I did in Minneapolis, MN in early November 2012. I’m thinking that the laid-back-seat-o-my-pants nature of this album will go great with a few beers and some good conversion or maybe some nice background music while cooking.
They songs are fairly raw – glaring mistakes and all – but the man running sound that night, Nathan Reeder, did a great job recording them and they were just begging to be set free.
Accompanying me on bass guitar was Josh Vaughn. I’ve known Josh since we were making Styrofoam skulls in 10th grade plastics class. It was cool to have him play a gig and do a little bar hopping on the way back home.
Also, BIG props to Lia Myhre from All Done Photography for getting some great shots. One of which I used for the album art.
Anyway, enough blabbing, go check it out and let me know what you think.

Folk Rock Singer Songwriter Corey Koehler (aka me) has released an environmental song in his song-per-month campaign. The song is titled “Frac Sand Blues.”
