Like you I am a huge fan of good music. I am always looking to find and share whatever I find with you anytime I can.
Today, aside from authoring a headline longer than 3 freight trains, I wanted to profile a few of the world class singer-songwriters that I have the honor of supporting next Wednesday night (Sept. 21st) at the Mayo Civic in Rochester, MN: Sally Barris, Jon Vezner and Brandon Sampson.
Here are a few facts and some video from each of these artists. Enjoy!
Sally Barris

She has had her songs recorded by Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Lee Ann Womack and American Idolist finalist Kellie Pickler.
Here is a video Sally singing here tune “Let The Wind Chase You.” Read the rest of this entry

Here’s chance for you to hang out with fun people, eat some good food and melt away the damage done from a long week of work.
I just booked a gig party out at Twin Bluffs on Friday November 13th (9:00 pm). Everyone had a great time out there the last time Doc and I played and this time shouldn’t be any different.
Also, the food is freakin awesome. It is all home style (read large and tasty) and the pizza -called “The Garbage Can” – that Doc and I shared at the last gig still makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
If it seems like its a little far out for some of you, perhaps it could be an excuse to go do some Christmas shopping in LaCrosse with a good timin’ pit stop on the way back home (just a thought).
If you missed it, here’s more about what went down at Twin Bluffs the last time we had a chance to hang there – Labor Day at Twin Bluffs.

Last Monday Doc informed me that we had the opportunity to play the Hei N’ Low Tap in Winona and I jumped at it. It was a no-brainer since I have been wanting to play down there for quite awhile. I’ve always loved the atmosphere and the crowd. It’s pretty easy to have a good time down there. Be sure to stop down.

Just wanted to send out a heads up. I know it is kind of a weird time BUT tomorrow – Friday afternoon – I will be playing at 4:00 pm on the second stage at the 5th Annual Boats and Bluegrass Festival over on Prairie Island.
If you can’t make it Friday afternoon stop out anytime Friday night and all afternoon into the evening on Saturday. They have a very solid line-up of acts throughout the weekend.
Go check out their website for more info – 5th Annual Boats and Bluegrass Festival.
I hope to see you there. Have a good one!
