OK, I’ve been screwing around way too long trying to get my CD finished. Now that it is, it is time to get out and play some music and have some fun with you guys.

Just got of the phone with Bob down at EB’s and it is official. Doc and I will be playing there on December 12th.

For the record, if you aren’t familiar with the bar it is actually pronounced “EEE BEE’s”.

Anyway, come on down, show your support, hear some great music and have a few with us. Its gonna be a good time!

Happy Turkey Day, Some Upcoming Gigs And A New Hangout?

I just wanted to let you know about a few upcoming show and tell you about where you can hang out with us over on Facebook. But first, I want to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving.

I know I have a ton to be thankful for this year. It would take forever to list everything but there are a few I put right at the top of the list; my beautiful family, my health (minus the beginnings of a runny nose..fingers crossed) and YOU! Yep you. I can’t tell you how much it means to me that you stick around to hear what I have to say here on the blog, or when come out to hear me play or many of other ways you have shown your support over the past year. I am extremely lucky to have you and I am more motivated than ever to make the best music I can for you, help you live a better life and show you a good time. THANK YOU!

Also, I wanted to let you know that I finally put up a fanpage over on Facebook. I put it up three days ago and already have 166 people. I am in awe. Last Monday Doc informed me that we had the opportunity to play the Hei N’ Low Tap in Winona and I jumped at it. It was a no-brainer since I have been wanting to play down there for quite awhile. I’ve always loved the atmosphere and the crowd. It’s pretty easy to have a good time down there. Be sure to stop down.

Also, I was able to get some promotional material made up. Karin Benedict and Shawn Swanson over at Blossom Publishing hooked me up with a sweet looking poster (below) that I can slap up around town to get the word out about upcoming shows. I put together some copy and then Shawn did the design work using some pictures I had taken in a impromptu photo shoot I did with Ken Stark a few months back.

I think they all did a great job and I am lucky to have access to them. I would highly recommend all of the above if you are looking to do anything involving publishing, graphic design or photography.

Party At The L-Cove Saturday September 12th and YOU Are Invited

Your invited to the L-Cove, on Saturday September 12th at 8:30, to spend a few hours partying with myself and Doc Roc. Not only will we be doing our full show of relaxing, good timin’ acoustic rock but I will be calling in a professional – Jason over at Mudstone Music – to record a bunch of my originals for my upcoming CD.

Jason will be aiming a mic out at you guys out in the audience so I’m gonna need some hootin’, hollerin’ and clapping hands along with the energy only you guys can provide.

I am also contemplating another surprise so stay tuned. It is something that I always wanted to do to REALLY help you guys relax – I know you will love it.

Can’t wait to see you there!
